Dr. Farhana Ather

Dr. Farhana Ather is a young, dynamic, and highly accomplished Pain Specialist from the city of Visakhapatnam. A Gold Medalist in Anaesthesiology, she is the only Pain specialist from the Telugu states (AP and Telangana ) to have completed dual internationally recognised elite Pain degrees— FIPP (World Institute of Pain, USA), ECPM (Brussels, Europe), and FIAPM (India).

A passionate teacher and mentor, she is dedicated to advancing pain medicine and shaping the next generation of pain specialists.

Dr. Farhana is a nationally recognised speaker and faculty at multiple ISA and Pain conferences.

She is a proud Alumnus of Andhra Medical College and has been very instrumental in the establishment of this Comprehensive Pain Management Programme.

As the Faculty and Project Coordinator ,she aims at continuing her mission to elevate the standards of pain care in India and start a state of art Pain facility at her Alumnus ,Andhra Medical College .She is correctly practicing as Consultant Interventional Pain Specialist at Apollo Clinics ,Visakhapatnam .
